Now that we understand the initial setup required for producing a weld at the given force and weld current, we are ready to do a reference weld. Press the Reference button at the bottom of the graph and then the button will turn red. At this point, each weld will become the reference. When you are satisfied that the weld is potentially a quality weld. you will then turn OFF the Reference Mode. Next you check the size of the weld button to see if it satisfies your requirement.
